I am really glad that Nintendo sees the errors in their ways. Iwata is a very shrewd businessman, and seems willing to improve upon last console generation's successes even further. The 3DS has the benefit of some strong third party support right out of the gate. Street Fighter IV did great despite releasing amongst three first party games, and other high profile third party titles are likely to follow in that success. It's funny how major franchises do great on a Nintendo system when they aren't a spin-off, even if the are a watered down port. I expect to see even more support behind Project Cafe announced at e3, seeing as how rumors suggest it is a graphical powerhouse. It seems that is all developers really need to feel inspired to develop for a system.
