Earlier today there were reports that EA had early development kits for Microsoft's next gaming console and the company was planning to announce it at next month's e3. I didn't bother to post this because it wasn't realistic at all. After all, Microsoft just started staffing for the concept phases a couple of months ago. Jeff Brown, EA's director of corporate communications, told IGN that the story was "a total fabrication -- 100 percent not true." I can see how Xbox fans would hope this news to be true, but it turns out that's all it was- wishful thinking.
