Nintendo fans might have felt left out in the cold when Sega neglected to announce a Wii version of the upcoming Sonic Generations, a game that has both old and new Sonics working together to save the world from certain doom. But fear not, a 3DS version is on the way and it includes its own special levels built around the system's unique features, as well as its own exclusive special stage. The 3DS version also utilizes StreetPass to deliver special content to nearby gamers and even features competitive multiplayer. Do all of these changes mean that it will be a completely different game, like the DS version was to the Wii version of Sonic Colors? I hope not, but we probably won't know for sure until Sonic Generations hits Xbox 360, PS3 and 3DS this November.
