This new patent indicates that there will be some sort of touchscreen on the PSP2, activated with two finger presses. It is rumored to be on the back of the system, an interesting choice that we probably won't understand until we have the unit in our hands. If Sony can keep it a secret that long count on seeing the PSP2 at E3.

Is Activision going to charge for multiplayer Call of Duty in the future? Seeing as how monetizing the MMORPG genre has worked out well for Blizzard and Activision you would think this move wouldn't be too far off, but Activision's Eric Hirshberg, CEO of the publishing division, says no. "Are we going to be charging for multiplayer? The answer is no," Hirshberg told IndustryGamers. "The experience you have out of the box, connecting with the online community to play Call of Duty is absolutely integral to the experience, and we'll never charge for that. It's not going to be something we'll attempt to monetize; it's part of the package." I'll hold you to that Mr. Hirshberg!
